EMPLOYMENT-BASED IMMIGRATION
Every year, the United States grants thousands of employment-based Green Cards to foreign professionals, executives, and skilled workers. Employment-based immigration provides a path for individuals with exceptional skills, higher education, or specialized expertise to live and work in the U.S. permanently. Each immigration category has specific eligibility criteria, legal procedures, and processing times.
Programs
At the Immigration Center of Ekaterina Muratova, we assist professionals, researchers, business executives, and skilled workers in navigating the complex immigration system and securing their employment-based Green Cards.
Immigration program EB-1A for individuals with extraordinary ability in arts, science, athletics, education, or business
This category is designed for individuals with outstanding achievements in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics. Applicants must provide substantial evidence of their recognition in their field and demonstrate how their work will benefit the U.S. economy or society.
Immigration program EB-1B for outstanding professors and researchers
The EB-1B visa is available for internationally recognized professors and researchers with significant achievements in their field. To qualify, applicants must have at least three years of experience and a permanent job offer from a U.S. university or research institution.
Immigration program EB-1C for multinational managers and executives and special immigrants
This category is for executives and managers transferring from a multinational company to a U.S. branch, subsidiary, or affiliate. To qualify, the applicant must have worked for the company outside the U.S. in a managerial or executive role for at least one year within the last three years.
Immigration program EB-2 for professional with advanced degree or exceptional ability in science, arts, or business
The EB-2 visa is for individuals with a master’s degree (or higher) or those with exceptional ability in the sciences, arts, or business. Applicants must show that their expertise will significantly contribute to the U.S. economy, culture, or education sector.
Immigration program EB-2 with National Interest Waiver
Unlike the standard EB-2 category, the National Interest Waiver (NIW) allows highly skilled individuals to bypass the job offer requirement if they can prove their work benefits the U.S. on a national level. This is ideal for researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals in critical industries.
Immigration program EB-3 for professionals, skilled ad unskilled workers
This category includes professionals with a bachelor’s degree, skilled workers with at least two years of training or experience, and unskilled workers performing jobs where U.S. workers are in short supply. A permanent job offer from a U.S. employer is required.
Immigration program EB-4 for religious workers, broadcasters, members of armed forces and other special immigrants
The EB-4 visa is reserved for specific groups, including religious workers, media professionals, military personnel, and certain other categories recognized as “special immigrants” under U.S. immigration law.
Work Permit (Employment Authorization Document – EAD)
A work permit allows individuals to legally work in the U.S. while waiting for their immigration status to be processed. It is essential for non-immigrant visa holders seeking employment authorization.
Advance Parole
This document grants travel authorization to individuals with pending immigration cases, allowing them to leave and re-enter the U.S. without jeopardizing their status.
PERM (Labor Certification only)
PERM is the first step in most employment-based Green Card applications. It is a labor certification process issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, ensuring that no qualified U.S. workers are available for the position offered to a foreign worker.
Consular processing only
Consular processing is a process in which immigrant visa applicants are interviewed at a U.S. consulate or embassy in their country of residence rather than in the United States. This category is appropriate for people who are not in the U.S. and wish to undergo immigration processing to obtain a visa to enter the country.
Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility
Certain individuals may face entry restrictions due to past immigration violations, criminal records, or health-related issues. A waiver application can provide a legal solution to overcome these barriers and obtain lawful status in the U.S.
At the Immigration Center of Ekaterina Muratova, we guide professionals, entrepreneurs, and skilled workers through every stage of the employment-based immigration process.
